Wolves

Al-Ma’wa for Nature and Wildlife is home to 9 wolves. They all have different backgrounds
and are currently living in two separate packs.

Wolves in general are very cautious animals and so it took a little bit of time for them to
acclimate to their new environment. However, nowadays both groups of wolves are very
relaxed with each other and display normal communicative behaviour with each other.
As some of the wolves are hybrid, they cannot be released into the wild due to a lack of
natural instincts which would place them in danger. They now enjoy spending their days
playing with each other and roaming their home!
