Three Indian Crested Porcupine release

April 28, 2019

Three Indian Crested Porcupine (Hystrix Indica) were recently released into the wild, after being rescued by FOUR PAWS International from a zoo in Gaza. They were given a medical examination and released by The Royal Society for the Conservation of Nature into the Jordanian wilderness. Despite their name, they are native to regions around the Middle East and throughout Southwest Asia and India! Don’t you think they are such interesting animals?!
