It is with a heavy heart that we must share the sad news that Suzie is not with us anymore. Suzie arrived at Al-Ma’wa at the end of 2020 after being entrusted to our care by authorities in Islamabad when she was removed from a zoo, along with Bubloo. Suzie had a number of longterm health issues caused by fast growing cancerous tumors and despite all of the efforts by the veterinary and animal care team at Al Ma’wa, her health quickly deteriorated. She enjoyed every moment at Al Ma’wa, from eating her favourite fruits, to exploring her beautiful and spacious enclosure. Providing Suzie with the best care towards the end of her life would not have been possible without the support from the Pakistan authorities or Four Paws. Rest in peace Suzie
