Eagle Owl surrendered to the New Hope Centre

April 6, 2019

This beautiful 1 year old Eagle Owl was surrendered to the New Hope Centre by her owner who could no longer care for her. She is in excellent condition and could have been released into the wild had her feathers not been cut. For this reason, she will have to remain with us during the moulting cycle where birds shed their old feathers to produce new ones. This process can take about 7 months. After she is able to fly, she will be released into the wild! We will keep you updated on her progress!
